Just great Dominican food. Maduros, moro, pollo filetillo, sancocho are all awesome.

I hung out there for like two hours on a rainy morning. The authentic vibe is undeniable and the mangu and tripe soup was great! It's a fun and delicious place to get a meal made with the most important ingredient: love!!

$8 lunch specials with generous portions of an entree, rice and beans, all well done and very flavorful! Excellent maduros as well, and the stewed eggplant is perfect for vegetarians. Only down side is the space is small so you might have to wait a bit for a table at peak lunch hours. I'd come back again if I were in the neighborhood!

Delicious home style fried chicken with rice beans and gravy. Awesome sweet fried plantains. Very friendly staff. Was busy even Sunday at 3, but I only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table.

Margot has been around for decades. It offers huge portions of delicious Spanish food at awesome prices. Unfortunately, it gets very crowded beyond control around lunch time. It's also small and not a very nice looking space. But the staff is friendly and accommodating. Bonus Tip: Try a cafe con leche and flan for dessert.

This place is a staple in the neighborhood and it has a good backstory too. What really surprises me is that for a place that is relatively famous, it is located on a very small lot.
